Those of you
who want to experience collecting your own crystal will find our
mine a fine place to go.
It is within a 20 minute driving distance from
the rock shop, and is located in
the beautiful Ouachita national forest.
Hours are 9 A.M. -
4 P.M. daily 7 days a week
Our fees are
$20.00 per adult, & $10.00 per child age 7-11
6 and under free if accompanied by paying adult.
You are required to go to the rock shop
where you must sign a release form and
will be given a map with detailed instructions.
We want you to have fun and be safe.
Reservations are not necessary but are
helpful when there are groups involved.
You
may bring your own digging tools.

hand tools, are for sale at the shop
Wear suitable clothes - shoes should be sturdy, (no sandals). The
rocks are very sharp.
Remember, The area is primitive, so please keep that in
mind when preparing for your trip,
there is a port-a-potty on site and
we ask that you please carry out your own trash to
help us keep the mine a safe, clean place to enjoy.
THE ROAD IS fairly
easy ACCESS , you drive your
own vehicle
AND THERE
IS PLENTY OF ROOM TO PARK
.
There are designated areas for you to
collect in,
that are safe and certain rules do apply.
Only the personel are allowed in the pit area
all others are prohibited from being in there for safety reasons and MSHA rules
.
If you are caught in the pit you may be asked
to leave the mine.
